I am a born-and-raised island girl from Puerto Rico. I recently took a leap of faith after realizing that the traditional 9 to 5 grind wasn't fulfilling my dreams at this stage of my life. I decided to trade my comfortable desk job for a chance to pursue my passion in an exciting industry—one that allows me to travel the world and connect with new people along the way.

My philosophy is optimistic nihilism.

I believe that we should have the freedom to pursue our dreams and passions, while we have the opportunity to. Life is fleeting, we're all going to die eventually, and in the grand scheme of things, most people won't remember us. So why not make the most of it and do what you ~really~ want to do?

In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in 2017, a shift occurred within me. I witnessed the devastating impact the hurricane had on our nature, particularly the beaches and rainforests I grew up near. Sustainability became a passion of mine, as I experienced first-hand the fragility of our planet. I am driven by a deep sense of purpose to protect our beautiful home for future generations.

Nonetheless, being weeks without water and months without electricity taught me to be grateful for the most fundamental aspects of life.

No hay mal que por bien no venga.

Through this blog, I hope to share my adventures, insights, philosophies and reflections as I navigate through my new life. It's a space where I aim to inspire others to embrace their dreams, but also a place where I can be open and completely honest about my personal life.
